The Angels remind us that there is no tunnel or light to find at the end, only the light we bring each day, in our own way.
The Angels remind us that friends come and go throughout life, but true, lasting friends are connected at soul level and are with us forever, even when we’re apart.
The Angels remind us to keep taking one step, and another, and another, even if we can’t see the path. Clear vision gets us headed in the right direction, but it is action alone which propels us forward.
The Angels remind us that love and hate are two sides of the same coin. It may seem like a toss-up as to which one we get, but actually we have more control than we think. We can choose love every time, even if the coin lands differently.
The Angels remind us to trust in the knowing that there are seeds beneath the snows, ready to sprout and grow. Trust that they will push through and bear their fruits and flowers. Trust that their beauty will inspire and their fruits will nourish. Trust.

This prayer for peace
Falls faintly from the lips of man,
Eroded by the deeds of doers past,
Shrouded by their heavy hearts
Clinging to belief in hope instead of action,
Fighting to bring peace,
Loving only those
With whom we can agree,
Our doctrines, temples, broken hearts
Could not prepare us for this time,
All built on rocky layers
Of prejudice and doubt,
And so we dig from beneath the rubble
Of our own unsteady hearts
To salvage what humanity we have left,
To create the second coming,
A new world within
